This paper presents the results of radioecological research of the Karakol River basin in Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgystan. The Karakol River has a snow-glacier feed, the chemical concentration of the water is slightly mineralized and it is of calcium-hydrocarbonate-sulfate type. The concentration of radionuclide was determined in soil, water, river bottom sediments and the city of Karakol.
