Research in Media Informatics is highly diverse. Ubiquitous Computing, Computer Graphics, Usability, Social Interactions, Social Networks, Human Computer Interaction, Privacy, Software Credibility, and Trustworthy Computing are just a few examples of current research directions. The goal of the seminar Research Trends in Media Informatics is to motivate students to delve deeper into these vast and diverse research fields, going beyond topics usually covered in lectures. The presented papers included in the proceedings focus on the areas of ubiquitous and pervasive computing and related enabling technologies.
