Palabras claves: Patagonia, cazadores-recolectores, tecnología lítica, raspadores, materia prima, ángulo de filo. Endscrapers are one of the most abundant tool classes in Cerro de los Indios 1 contexts. They were mainly manufactured in different varieties of siliceous rocks. In a lesser extent, obsidian and andesit were also used. This paper evaluates the temporal tendency in the utilisation of different raw materials, from layer 11, dated before 1860 years bp, until the latest, probably of

Edge angles (discriminated between active and dull) as pointers of use-life, have been related to raw materials to evaluate its change through time. In the first moments of the occupation sequence considered, the analysis show the discard of heavy utilized endscrapers in all raw materials. It is also evident a tendency of shorter use lives towards the youngest stratigraphical levels.
