The use of such an approach is one of the important priorities of full realization of the potential of each territory and ensuring the development of the economy by improving the quality of socio–economic space. The purpose of the article is to study the methodological principles of the formation of cross–border cooperation in entrepreneurship in a transboundary region, and to determine the effective mechanisms for activating the development of small frontier entrepreneurship. Methodology of the work is the position of the theories of economic development and the concepts of entrepreneurship development on the basis of cross–border cooperation. Formation of the hypothesis concerning the study of partnership in entrepreneurship in the context of the development of cross–border cooperation and the substantiation of the proposal to strengthen the role of the development of cross–border cooperation in entrepreneurship in order to ensure the economic growth of the euro regions. The results of the work – the article proves that the formation of spatial poles of economic growth, including the border region, can be considered as a potential growth area, which in the future may spread to other parts of the national space.
