The mor phology and the par ti cle size were stud ied us ing the scan ning elec tron mi cro scope and trans mis sion elec tron mi cros copy. En ergy dispersive X-ray spec tros copy is an an alyt i cal tech nique used for the el e men tal anal y sis or chem i cal char ac ter iza tion of a sam ple. Dy namic light scat ter ing was used to es ti mate the size of the cop per ox ide nanofluids. The UV-vis i ble ab sorp tion spec trum was used to mea sure the op ti cal prop erty of the cop per ox ide nanofluids. The ther mal con duc tiv ity of the cop per oxide nanofluids was an a lyzed as well.
