Music can help render the atmosphere and characterize the characters in animation works. This paper starts from the teaching practice in MIDI (musical instrument digital interface) music production, mainly analyzes the application and production process of music in animation works, and summarizes the problems to be noted in teaching of animation music, to provide a reference for music producers in China's animation industry.
