This study reports the results of a life design approach case study with an adolescent with stuttering. A variety of postmodern techniques were used to engage the adolescent in life design conversations about a preferred and meaningful future. Post-intervention, the individual seemed more capable of making a career choice with a sense of empowerment or personal agency.
