The Determination of the Radioactivity Level from Milk Raw Materia for the Manufacture of Pressed Cheeses

The milk samples taken were concentrated through drying and evaporation at 104-107°C, the resulting concentrated milk being the raw material necessary for measuring the radioactivity. The method of analyze used was gamma spectrometry, performed with gamma spectrometers equipped with NaI detectors and measuring the global beta radioactivity with Geyger Müller counters.
