Toxoplasma gondii is a protozoan with worldwide distribution, responsible for causing toxoplasmosis, a disease that affects mammals, reptiles, amphibians and birds. The objective of this study was to evaluate T. gondii seroprevalence in dogs and cats domiciled in cities from West and Serrana mesoregions of Santa Catarina.
