Author Abstract: This article is a chronological account of the flood disaster, response, and recovery aftermath at Hamilton Library of the University of Hawaii (UH) at Manoa. The heaviest rains since 1905 hit Manoa Valley in Honolulu on October 30, 2004. The rain gauge recorded 5 inches per hour at the storm's peak.
