This paper presents the three phase AC/DC converter drive effects on the linearity of the Torque-speed characteristics. A MATLAB/Simulink realization of the three phase AC/DC converter drive is described. The DC motor speed control is achieved by controlling the voltage applied to the armature circuit using three phase AC/DC converter drive.
