In the title compound, C16H17N3, the indazole ring system makes a dihedral angle of 64.73 (12)° with the pyrrole ring. The atoms of the allyl group are disordered over two sets of sites, with a refined occupancy ratio of 0.70 (3):0.30 (3). The mean plane through the major component of the allyl group is nearly perpendicular to the indazole ring, as indicated by the N—C—C=C torsion angle of −114 (1)°.
