The term 'Safety Culture' was first defined in 1986. Nowadays it is introduced into all areas of activities with ionizing radiation sources. The importance of Safety Culture for medical applications mirrors rapid penetration of cutting-edge technologies in the field of medical equipment, hence the need to involve extremely competent personnel. National regulatory framework needs to be amended and updated to ensure an effective introduction of 'Safety Culture' into professional and regulation practice.
