AbstractThis article is a written version of the presentation "Last Copies Initiative: Permanent Conservation of Print Collections in Canada" made in November 2016 in Göttingen, Germany. This article describes the Canadian context that enabled this initiative, its success in the development of its framework, and the issues it faced in its implementation. It concludes on lessons learned and next steps.
