The aim of the study is to determine the 4 th grade classroom teachers' views towards 4 th grade Mathematics Curriculum. This qualitative study was conducted in Kurtalan county of Siirt with 12 fourth grade classroom teachers. Semi structured interview questions asked to participants. The answers transcribed and analysis was realized by the authors separately. more » ... nd codes were presented under the pre-determined themes. The themes were 1. Attainments, 2. Content, 3. Learning-teaching process, 4. Evaluation, 5. Suggestions. The results showed that time limitation, the frequency of classroom teachers' changes, and the limitation about having information on students' individual differences because of the changes of teachers, language and communication problems are the major issues for realizing attainments of 4 th Grade Mathematics Curriculum. Measurements subjects are expected to be covered back to back in the formal curriculum but the sequence of measurement subjects is criticized. The harmony between the contents of Science Curriculum and Mathematics Curriculum is stated as a positive aspect. Lack of materials and limitation of endorsement of Mathematics teachers are defined as limitations related to learning-teaching process. The participants confess that they do not implement complementary evaluation methods at all. The participants suggest that the time allocated for Mathematics Course be increased in schedule. Another suggestion was expressed as a wish, the cooperation between Counsel of Higher Education and Ministry of National Education may serve to successful implementation of curriculum. STRUCTURED ABSTRACT Purpose: The philosophy of all course's curricula in Turkiye is constructivism. Students' active participations to courses are significant during learning-teaching process. Infrastructure of schools, materials and equipments particular to specific courses, technological equipment to make subjects understandable for students who are in concrete operational stage were listed as significant factors affecting implementation of Mathematics curricula. The purpose of the study is to determine classroom teachers' views on 4 th grade Mathematics Curriculum working in Kurtalan county of Siirt City. Method: In this qualitative study, semi structured interview questions were written by the researchers. Two experts' feedbacks and suggestions were demanded. Study group was constituted of 12 teachers working in 5 different schools in Kurtalan-Siirt, three of them are village schools and the others are in county. The participants' teaching experience mean was 9 years; 6 of the participants were men and 6 of the Turkish Studies International Periodical for the Languages, Literature and History of Turkish or Turkic Volume 11/14 Summer 2016 social, geographical characteristics that affect learners' development stages and learning speed. Actually curricula had 10% time flexibility but it is insufficient for the participants. Recommendations: Further research projects can be conducted by focusing on rural areas and comparison between rural, urban and schools located on metropolis centers could be conducted. It is obvious that participants did not apply complementary evaluation methods at all. Research projects could be conducted to identify why classroom teachers working in the county did not prefer to use them.
