Abstract: In this article, the generalized model for photo-thermoelastic waves under a hyperbolic twotemperature model without energy dissipation is used to calculate the conductive and thermodynamic temperatures, carrier density, displacement and stress in a semi-infinite

The analytic solutions for all physical variables are obtained by applying Laplace transform and eigenvalues approach. The results are illustrated graphically to show the difference between the hyperbolic two-temperature model and the classical twotemperature model upon without energy dissipation. We believe that the present study will help to understand the basic features of the new model for heat conduction.
