Both group of patients underwent lipid profile and glycosylated hemoglobin test and results were compared. Result : -Serum lipid levels are significantly raised in patient with diabetic retinopathy . Glycosylated hemoglobin level are significantly raised in patient with diabetic retinopathy(p<0.01), and higher levels are associated with progression from moderate to severe diabetic retinopathy (p<0.05) .
