Nowadays the finite element methods (FEM) are highly used because of their capacity to simulate and evaluate the structure efficiency of bridges. By highlighting where the maximum stress values appear we will help the constructor to avoid dangerous sections. Based on this study, we will outline future research directions, aiming to identify and improve the mechanical and strength characteristics of box girders bridges.
