Uttarakhand is the state located at the foothills of the snow-clad Himalayas with lush green vegetation. There is a diverse range of flora and fauna habitats in Uttarakhand. This comprehensive review describes the Ficus species present in Uttarakhand for the phytochemical compounds and contemporary pharmacological activities such as antioxidant, cytotoxic, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, antiulcer, and anticonvulsant. An extended survey of the current literature (Science Direct, Scopus, and PubMed) has been carried out as part of the current work. The present review may provide useful evidence for reasonable utilization of Ficus species as phytochemical, and pharmacological studies for drug innovation.
