Vehicular ad hoc networks have attracted a lot of attention in recent years, in either vehicle-to-vehicle or vehicleto-infrastructure scenarios. In this paper, we focus on the latter, particularly for vehicles to upload to roadside units, the socalled drive-thru Internet, in a secure and efficient manner. Due to the ad hoc nature and wireless communications, traditional certificate-based security schemes are either infeasible or inefficient in this scenario.
