... an Empire to the XIXth century by observing the changes and continuities, in a sense means revealing the meaning of a great deal of the city in history. Hence, in this paper, both previous studies have been brought together and the obtained data by scannings of archival documents are presented in tabular forms by centuries and attempted to reveal a comprehensive inventory of neighborhoods. This identification process is based on the tahrir registers for the XVth and XVIth centuries, and avarız registers, sharia court records and hurufat registers for the XVIIth and XVIIIth centuries.
