Objectives: The aim of this study was to develop a new Korean psychotherapeutic model in terms of emotion. Methods: We compared the five minds mutual restriction therapy with short-term dynamic psychotherapy (STDP). We summarized 4 similarities and 4 differences of these two models of psychotherapy.
