Experimental Research into the use of Aquatic Plants for the Improvement of Water Quality in the Main Tributary to Lake Biwa

The water quality in Lake Biwa is constantly affected same levels of concentrations in COD, T-N, T-P, but algae bloom or red tide is practically an annual occurrence. So, it is offen inadeguate for a source of water supply. Therefore it is necessary to make improvement to the water purification capacity of the main tributary into Lake Biwa, to augment past water quality preservation meseaurs.
