In this paper, the electromagnetic susceptibility of electro-explosive devices (EEDs) including their connection wires is assessed statistically. The electromagnetic coupling and the thermal power dissipation are modeled to determine the activation condition due to an excitation with an external electromagnetic field. The reception properties of the connection wires are obtained numerically and validated experimentally; variations in their geometry are considered by means of a Monte Carlo
