In order to solve the problems of the inheritance and development of TCM theory and explore corresponding solutions, this study uses literature research method to point out the realistic predicament of the inheritance and development of TCM. Then, based on analyzing the cause of the predicament, the research finds that the opportune integration of the relationship between knowledge and practice, science and witchcraft, TCM and Western medicine, inheritance and innovation is an effective way to solve the problems. In conclusion, based on the realistic predicaments for the inheritance and development of TCM theory, the cause analysis of the predicament of the inheritance and development of TCM theory has been carried out and the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions have been given for the inheritance and development of TCM theory.
