Simulative comparison of parallel redundant wireless systems with OMNet++
2014
2014 IEEE 23rd International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (ISIE)
Parallel redundant point-to-point transmission utilizing a dual-radio wireless infrastructure has been identified as a powerful approach to improve the performance of wireless communication. This method can be applied for every existing wireless standard, but has not been deeply researched so far. To fill this gap, an OMNet++ simulation model for IEEE 802.11g (Wi-Fi) and IEEE 802.15.4 (ZigBee) is developed and some simulation scenarios performed to get a better understanding of the comparative
