Multi-Agent Systems have been widely used for traffic simulation. The modeling of individuals allows indeed to introduce a behavioral diversity which is crucial to obtain realistic simulation outcomes. The recent growth of open geographical databases and related flow information provides an opportunity for enhancing traffic simulators with data automatically retrieved from the real world and updated regularly.
