Effects of Various Pharmacological Agents on the Function of Norepinephrine Transporter
Journal of UOEH
The norepinephrine transporter is selectively expressed in noradrenergic nerve terminals, where it can exert spatial and temporal control over the action of norepinephrine. The norepinephrine transporter mediates the termination of neurotransmission via the reuptake of norepinephrine released into the extracellular milieu. In the present brief review, we report our recent studies about the effects of various pharmacological agents such as fasudil, nicotine, pentazocine, ketamine and genistein on norepinephrine transporter function.doi:10.7888/juoeh.37.33 pmid:25787100 fatcat:6nxfg67ulnbppjwdvqoedlgkfe
