Adaptive instructional planning or sequencing is recognized as one of the most interesting research questions in intelligent learning management systems. In this paper, we address the adaptive learning object sequencing problem in intelligent learning management systems proposing a concrete methodology based on the use of ontologies and learning object metadata.
