The definition of a Framework from the English dictionary is a basic structure, plan, or system, as of concepts, values, customs, or rules. Another definition is a skeletal structure designed to support or enclose something. In Software Engineering, a framework is a common term, and the field has it grew also proliferated an uncountable number of frameworks. more » ... ition of framework within the context of Software Engineering, which types of frameworks exist and the expected benefits of having them as a basis for creating future Software Engineering frameworks. Therefore, in this paper, researchers applied a Systematic Literature Review to the framework developed within the academia, and the findings are summarized.
