Instrumental Neutron Activation for Analysis of some Human Renal stone samples

Recently the incidence rate of renal stone disease is increased in Egypt. In addition to industrial and environmental effects in this increase, trace elements may also have a role in the formation of such stones, inspit of their significance in biological lithogenesis. In this study instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA) technique is applied for elemental analysis of some renal stones, collected from patient living in different provinces in Egypt. more » ... male and children. The patients are of varied ages. The analyses are carried out under various conditions of irradiation and cooling time. Major, minor and trace elements were determine. Standard material is used for accuracy and quality control measurements.
