One of the groups most at risk of leprosy is naracontact. This study intends to determine the level of positivity M. leprae from naracontact and the relationship between M. leprae naracontact of household by type of leprosy with biomolecular technique. Examination was done by using Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) to confrm the existence of M. leprae by using nested primers TTC to amplify regions TTC. PCR results of 42 samples of nasal swabs naracontact shows that 26 positive isolates of Mycobacterium leprae nasal swabs narakontak (619%) consists of naracontact MB 20 people (66.7%) and naracontact bpe PB 6 people (50%). While the negative PCR result 16 people naracontact nasaf swabs (36.1%) consists of naracontact type MB l0 people {33.3%) and naracontact type PB 6 people GA%). There were no statistically significant difference between the positivity rates of Mycobacterium leprae by PCR examination of nasal swabs naracontact MB type with nasal swabs naracontact PB type in leproey endemic areas (p: 0.483).
