This useful little abstract of gynecological literature appears in its usual form. Naturally, there is even greater lack of foreign literature than a year ago. The sub-title is somewhat misleading-"comprising . . . volumes on the year's progress." There is much in each year's product that does not represent progress in gynecology. It may indicate progress on the part of the author, showing that he is in the way of learning something: but that is all. Thus, in
