In the modern IT environment , the number of cloud based applications are exponentially increasing. The underlying cloud network should sustain the increasing complexity ,and the demand for scalability and elasticity, The performance of the cloud network is the major concern in the modern data center from sociability perspective. This paper attempts to capture the survey of different technologies and algorithm used to for virtual machine placement that optimizes the cloud network.
