This paper aims to explore the application of the Princeton Model of TCFL to College English teaching in China, which is actually a brand new research field both at home and abroad. Though with some challenges, the application of the Princeton Model of TCFL not only arouses students' enthusiasm to express themselves in the target language and efficiently enhances student engagement through active learning, but also markedly promotes their speaking and listening skills.
