Moya moya syndrome is a moya moya angiopathy related secondarily to any neurological symptom or because of a specific acquired or inherited origin presenting with sensory and motor impairments. Although the disease is quite common in Japan, many cases have been reported around the globe, including North America, Europe, and India.
