ABSTRAK Telah dilakukan penelitian keterhubungan sungai bawah tanah antara Seropan dan Bribin dengan metode Geofisika Very Low Frequency (VLF) di daerah Gombong, Kecamatan Ponjong, sampai Dadapayu, Kecamatan Semanu, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. more » ... iran sungai bawah tanah yang diinterpretasi secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada tanggal 15 sampai 26 September 2013. Interpretasi kualitatif dilakukan berdasarkan pengolahan data yang telah dikoreksi topografi, selanjutnya menggunakan filter moving average untuk penghalusan. Filter Fraser dan Filter Karous Hjelt untuk memperlihatkan anomali benda konduktif bawah tanah. Sedangkan interpretasi kuantitatif menggunakan program Inv2DVLF untuk menentukan posisi sungai bawah tanah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui arah aliran sungai bawah tanah dari utara menuju selatan. Aliran Seropan dan Bribin bertemu pada koordinat 8° 2' 20,73" LS dan 110° 40' 48,51" BT. Sungai Seropan berada diatas Sungai Bribin, saling menyilang bertingkat dan tidak saling berhubungan. Kata Kunci : sungai bawah tanah, VLF ABSTRACT A study of the interconnection of the karstic aquifer between Seropan and Bribin using the Very Low Frequency (VLF) Geophysical Method was done in Gombong region, from Ponjong Subdistrict to Dadapayu, Semanu Subdistrict, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta. This study aimed at determining the direction and the pattern of the flow of karstic aquifer as well as determining the position of the interconnection between Seropan River and Bribin River. The interpretation was done from the data of VLF tilt angle and ellipticity to estimate the flow of karstic aquifer that were interpreted qualitatively and quantitatively. The data collection was done from the 5 th to 26 th of September 2013. The qualitative interpretation was done according data processing that had been corrected topographically, then using Moving Average Filter to smoothing, Fraser Filter and Karous Hjelt Filter to show the anomaly of karstic aquifer conductive things. Meanwhile, quantitative interpretation used Inv2DVLF program to determine the position of karstic aquifer. Based on the results of the study, it could be concluded that the direction of the karstic aquifer was from the north to the south. Seropan's flow and Bribin's flow met at coordinate 8° 2' 20,73" LS dan 110° 40' 48,51" BT. Seropan River was located above Bribin River crossing each other, terraced, and not interconnected.
