VARIABILITY OF NON-PERFORMING ASSETS THROUGH THE ACCUMULATION OF OUTSTANDING LOANS-WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO INDIAN MICROFINANCE

The main objectives of this paper are to examine the percentage of variation in non-performing assets of SHG"s due to sanctioning of an higher amount of loans with suitable suggestions to strengthen the microfinance system in India. The information extracted from the microfinance status report of 2013 of NABARD and the examined period started from year 2010 to 2014. The necessary authority should take necessary steps to recover the accumulation of outstanding loans through a wider awareness regarding sustainability of economy only possible through recycling of loans.
