Наголошено на необхідності включення економічної безпеки в економіч ну життєздатність українського суспільства. Встановлено як життєздатність народного господарства впливає на робочі місця, гарантування добробуту держави загалом. Зазначено напрями діяльності Уряду в забезпеченні економічної безпеки України, в процесі розвитку національного потенціалу, різноманіт них можливостей держави в реалізації базових економічних інтересів країни. Проаналізовано комплек сне дослідження економічної безпеки як систему управління з погляду наявних факторів, що сприяє фор муванню цілісної картини економічної безпеки як базового компонента національної безпеки країни. The article is a study of the economic security of the country as an important component of the national security system. It is noted that economic security is one of the defining components of the state building process in a globalized world. The need to include economic security in the economic viability of Ukrainian society was emphasized. It is established how the viability of the national economy affects jobs, guaranteeing the welfare of the state as a whole. The directions of the Government's activity in ensuring the economic security of Ukraine, in the process of development of the national potential, various possibilities of the state in realization of the basic economic interests of the country are specified. A complex study of economic security as a management system in terms of existing factors, which contributes to the formation of a holistic picture of economic security as a basic component of national security, is analyzed. Threats and challenges to national economic security are structured in accordance with such features as environment of origin, intensity of influence, content, and scale of manifestation, nature of action, significance, and possible consequences. The key risks to economic security are listed. The indicators, by which economic security is estimated are analyzed. The economic security of the national economy is schematically presented, taking into account the regional components, the level of economic security of which has an influence on the level of national economic security. The results of the analysis of the Strategies of economic development of the regions until 2020 are presented, which testifies to the imperfection of the developed strategies and the need for improvement in order to ensure the economic security of the region and national security in general. The connection between the increase in the level of financial autonomy of the united territorial communities and the ability of regional authorities and local governments to develop and implement territorial development programs has been established. The construction of an effective management system for economic development of the region is characterized as a difficult task of implementation in practice.
