It is shown that in the above letter by Grant and van Nee the decoding algorithm was derived incorrectly, and therefore, maximum-likelihood decoding performance is not achieved. The correct version of the decoding algorithm is then given. Index Terms Fast Hadamard transform, maximum-likelihood decoding, OFDM, peak power, Reed-Muller codes.
