Discussion The rational design and preparation of metal-organic coordination polymers has been attracted much attention for their promising applications of catalysis, gas sorption, magnetic, photoluminescent properties and so on [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] . In this regard, the selection of the structure of the spacer ligand is extremely important because changing the structure of the organic ligand can control and adjust the topology. Among various organic ligands, multicarboxylates have attracted considerable attention due to their various coordinationm odes to metal atoms [ 6, 7] .
