Analysis of Language Learning Strategies Used by Two Groups of Students of Differing Age Range 56 | Suesca Torres & Torres Pérez questionnaire to identify Language Learning Strategies (LLS), a focus group discussion, and an interview. The results show that age is an important factor when determining LLS. However, it was also found that there are other variables such as task nature, course methodology, and parents' availability, among others, that may influence strategy choice. Resumen Este estudio exploratorio corto busca analizar las estrategias de aprendizaje del lenguaje usadas por dos grupos de estudiantes con diferente rango de edad en los grados séptimo y undécimo. Los instrumentos usados para llevar a cabo este estudio fueron: la adaptación de un cuestionario para identificar las estrategias de aprendizaje del lenguaje (EAL); una discusión de grupo focal y una entrevista. Los resultados muestran que la edad es un factor importante cuando se determinan las EAL. Sin embargo, se encontró que hay otras variables tales como la naturaleza de las tareas, la metodología del curso y la disposición de los padres, entre otros, que podría influenciar la elección de la estrategia.
