This report is one of a series published by the State Department of Conservation and Development. It presents statistics of the production of mineral commodities in New Jersey in 1932 and comparable figures for previous years. The data for the report were furnished by the mineral producers of the State, and for a majority of the industries, 100 per cent of the production is represented. This fine record of voluntary cooperation has made possible the presentation of figures which are believed to
more » ... ich are believed to be as complete as those from any other State in the Union.The work of collecting and compiling much of the data fior this report was done in cooperation with the Bureau of Mines of the United States Department of the Interior. Statistics relating to the brick, tile and pottery industries were obtained through the courtesy of the Bureau of the Census of the United States Department of Commerce.
