Sınıf Öğretmenlerinin Mesleki Etik İlkeleri Kapsamındaki Davranışlarının Okul Yöneticilerinin Algılarına Göre Değerlendirilmesi

ARTICLE INFO In this study, it was aimed to research the adoption level of school teachers for the behaviors within scope of the professional ethical principles, based on the perceptions of school directors working in elementary schools (primary and secondary schools) containing classroom teachers. Meanwhile, the sampling comprises 313 school directors who work in 196 elementary education institutions selected with the "criterion sampling" method which is among the aimed sampling methods. "Professional Ethical Principles Scale" comprising 6 factors and 71 items developed by Manalova (2010) was used for the research data. The data obtained from the study were analyzed by using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) package program. T-test, One-Way variance analysis (One-Way ANOVA), Kruskal-Wallis H test and Mann-Whitney U tests were employed for independent samples in the analysis and interpretation of the data. The results of the research reveal that according to the perceptions of school administrators, classroom teachers adopt the behaviors within the scope of professional ethical principles at a high level.
