This work describes an impressive outburst of the galaxy S5 0716+714 which was registered by many instruments simultaneously. The extensive dataset collected from several telescopes, spanning the entire electromagnetic spectrum, provided a unique opportunity to study the emission mechanism of blazars and in particular BL Lac objects as S5 0716+714.
