of the old classic curriculum in view of the wealth of modern studies, deplores the decrease in mental culture that is the result. In particular it is to be regretted that so many ministers come to the theological-seminary without a knowledge of Greek. A.B. can be obtained in most colleges without Greek. The pity of it is that the modern theological seminary has to cover so much new ground as to make it very difficult to acquire Greek ,there. The practical side of the ministers' life receives
