It was necessary to analyze the finite amplitude waves in exhaust systems for prediction the acoustic characteristics in silencers of internal combustion engines. In this paper, according to the same calculation method to the previous work, a numerical analysis of the propagation of shock waves was carried out by using several silencer models with the internal structures which are comparatively simple. more » ... s by the silencer models of two-dimensional models and three-dimensional models. In addition, the effect of the reduction of the shock wave is considered by analysis of the model similar to the figure of the actual silencer.
