We study a novel resources allocation approach for femtocells according to the quantity of femtocells and available channels in cognitive heterogeneous network. Due to the co-channel manner in macrocells and femtocells, femtocell base station (FBS) is combined with cognitive radio to obtain available spectrum resources and protect macrocell users (MUEs) from interference of femtocells.
