Images of a New Identitary Economy of Pregnant Bodies

The idea guiding this paper is that images create representations of femininities, thus introducing a new identitary economy of pregnant bodies. We investigated the discursive production of mother identities published in the Brazilian magazine Pais & Filhos. As a methodological-theoretical tool, we adopted the concepts of discourse analysis by Michel Foucault.
