ARTICLE INFO ABSTRACT Chronic wounds are an important and difficult to manage condition in veterinary medicine. Here we report a case of a chronic wound in a canine patient that had proven resistant to conventional therapies. The wound was treated with a single, local application of mesenchymal stem cells in order to promote wound healing and cicatrization.
